EVENTS

Stay up-to-date with what's going on!

Yoga

Come flow with us... The beauty of yoga is it is for every body! In our class, we work to maintain and improve flexibility, balance, and strength by doing static poses and gentle flows. We use props and modifications to ensure it is accessible for any fitness level. You don't have to be a 'yogi' to reap great benefits from this class!

Classes are in the Children's Sanctuary on Thursday mornings at 7:45 a.m.

Chair Yoga

If you feel the traditional yoga is not quite for you, why not give CHAIR YOGA a try! It is a modifed program using chairs, and allows people of all ages or physical conditions to benefit from yoga. Wear your stretchy clothes and become more flexible as you strengthen your body. The class is free and open to all, and meets in Children's Church Tuesday mornings at 10:15 a.m.

Church Picnic

The annual church picnic will follow the 10:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 2. The meat, drinks, and dessert will be furnished. Those with last names being with A-L should bring a salad to share; M-Z should bring a vegetable dish. This should be a great time to relax and enjoy a beautiful afternoon.
Everyone is welcome!

Second Sunday Celebration

On the second Sunday of each month have coffee hour, following worship, to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other events that occur during the month. The hope is that persons with a birthday will bring a coin for each year of their life. These coins are collected with the goal of providing an ark of animals through the Heifer Project. The next celebration is May 19 at 11:30 a.m. (moved due to Mother's Day on May 12.)

Roundtable Discussions

Roundtable Discussions are informal and are on designated Sundays, at 11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

The May 19 discussion is informational about CAJE (Congregations Acting for Justice and Empowerment) and why Bethel should consider being part of that group.
