“For Everything There Is a Season” – Ecclesiastes 3
We have enjoyed the 28 years of Bethel Preschool’s service to the community. We are grateful for all of the children and families who have grown and learned with us and for all the teachers and volunteers who have shared and cared with us. We dare to believe that we have made a difference in the lives of many children and families. We know they have made an enormous difference in the life of our congregation. We are particularly appreciative of the current staff: Brenda Arrick, Jenni Webster, and Karen Lant.
Times have changed since the Bethel Preschool began in 1989. The desire for a classic nursery school has expanded to the request for daycare, accreditation, wavers, and after-school care. Our current program is not as viable as it once was. Therefore, the advisory committee and the church council have agreed that it needs to close in its current form. We are not able to offer Bethel Preschool, as it has been, for 2018-19.
However, we are a forward looking congregation, eager to meet the present-day needs of the community. After recognizing the importance that the Preschool has been on August 26 during the 10:15 a.m. worship service, we will gather a group to consider what form our early childhood ministry will take in the future.
