MINISTRIES

DUE TO COVID RATES, MEETING TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Wise Women

We welcome any woman who would enjoy study, laughing, sharing, and warm friendship. Studies typically center around a book from the Bible. We also do social outings throughout the year, and support a mission project.

Gideon Class

"For where God built a church, there the devil would also build a chapel." -Martin Luther
Every Sunday the Gideon class gathers to discuss topics of interest in current events, and see how the influences of God and the devil fare in the outcome.

Young Adult Ministries

We start with Scripture and our beliefs, and end up thinking and talking more deeply about our own lives. This is a safe and encouraging space to ask big questions, to wonder "What if?"

Meetings are Wednesdays @ 6:15 PM - 7:45 PM

Bethel Book Club

This group reads a variety of books including fiction, non-fiction, historical and current. This provides for great discussions and reflection for a faith journey. The offering each Sunday supports the Bethel Faith Formation program and goes towards sponsoring R. Venkatesan in a Christian school in India.

UCS Meals

UCS provides over 300 hot meals a day to the poor, homeless, and vulnerable. Volunteers from Bethel UCC cook and serve the evening meal once a month. Contact Carolyn Stephens for more information.

Taste of Heaven

Date, time and place subject to change!

This group is a fun and eclectic mix of folks, from young professionals all the way through retirees. We meet at local restaurants on a monthly basis and have flexible meeting times to accommodate busy schedules. We try a new place each month, we even wander to the far reaches of the county! Come share some fun with us.

This is just one of many lunch or dinner groups. There's always room for one more. We continue to form new groups as we expand.
