There is a ministry for everyone.

Wise Women

Tuesday 9 am

We welcome any woman who would enjoy study, laughing, sharing, and warm friendship. Studies typically center around a book from the Bible. We also do social outings throughout the year, and are currently supporting the Appalachia Service Project.

The group will meet through May 21st, taking a break for the summer, and resuming in the fall.

Men, if you are interested in toast, coffee and the other breakfast trimmings, the Ironmen Group may be just the ticket! The group meets every Wednesday morning for breakfast, conversation, news updates and a bit of Bible study.

Past topics include: "God of Wonders" Exploring the Wonders of Creation and Conscience, "Prayer" and "Starting Point" Focuses on having a conversation about your personal Faith Story. Gideon Class

Sunday 9 am

"For where God built a church, there the Devil would also build a chapel." -Martin Luther

If you would like to see who wins the debate between these two powerful forces, God or the Devil, come visit the class! Every Sunday people just like you get together to discuss topics of interest in current events and see how the influences of God and the Devil fare in the outcome. Look for God's will with us!

Lunch Bunch

Second Wednesday of each month, 12:30 pm

Lunch Bunch meets at a different restaurant each month, determined by the monthly host. In December there is a Christmas party and gift exchange. This is a great chance to meet for fun, fellowship, and good food. If you are interested in joining this group, contact the church office. The next gathering is June 12 at
12:30 p.m. at Turoni's on North Main Street.

Youth Sunday School

Sunday 9 am

We start with Scripture and our beliefs, and end up thinking and talking more deeply about our own lives. This is a safe and encouraging space to ask big questions, to wonder "what if?" and to enjoy a donut with friends.

Bethel Book Club

Sunday at 9 am

A group that reads a variety of books including fiction, non-fiction, historical and current. These books provide for great discussions and reflection for a faith journey. The offering each Sunday supports the Bethel Christian Education program and goes towards sponsoring R. Venkatesan in a Christian school in India.

United Caring Services

4th Tuesday of each month 2:30 pm to 6 pm

324 N. W. 6th Street, Evansville

UCS provides over 300 hot meals a day to the poor, homeless, and vulnerable. Volunteers from Bethel UCC cook and serve the evening meal once a month. Contact Carolyn Stephens for more information.

Taste of Heaven

Date, time and place subject to change!

This group is a fun and eclectic mix of folks, from young professionals all the way through retirees. We meet at local restaurants on a monthly basis and have flexible meeting times to accommodate busy schedules. We try a new place each month, we even wander to the far reaches of the county! Come share some fun with us.

This is just one of many lunch or dinner groups. There's always room for one more. We continue to form into new groups as we expand.

Occasionally the Children's Choir and Youth Choir sing with the Santuary Choir for a more diverse sound. These choirs rehearse, as needed, at 6 pm on Wednesday nights and/or 9 am on Sunday mornings.

Bell Choir
